As one of the 6 admins of the Dutch-Indonesian Kitchen page on Facebook I got in contact with Jeff Keasberry and we exchanged a recipe.
Days later another guest of the page asked if a cousin of mine was related to a person she knows. A certain Snabilié.
We have a very large familytree on www.geni.com and I looked that Snabilié person up. Found out that a certain Jane Florence Keasberry was married to a Snabilié, which is a cousin of mine via the Thomson branch in the tree.
Got back to Jeff and we seem to be cousins 5 times removed.
That was fun to find out !
Question: do you also have your familytree on www.geni.com ?
If not, I can recommend it. Anyone mentioned in the tree and with e-mail, can add info to it. You can also merge trees from different families, when there are matches in it. And so, grow a a huge familytree worldwide.
