I am a descendant of Samuel & Susannah Keesberry who resided in Mifflin Co, Pennsylvania in the late 1700s. They were likely born in the 1750s or 1760s. The spellings of the name in the extant records vary quite a bit (Keesbury, Keysberry, etc) so I have no idea of the "proper" spelling. However, I do think they are of English descent.
I do not know if your English research included these spelling variants. Perhaps one day we'll make a connection..
