This Keasberry website was created because Loet Keasberry has been documenting everything there is to know about the Keasberry family.

Family members dating back to the 18th century have been found and given a place in the family tree.

The extended book was never avaliable digitally, let alone dynamically on an internet site. Rob and Menno van der Horst develloped and filled the entire site before its launch at the 14th of May 2005.

Currently, the site is continouesly filled up, updated and extended by numerous family members. We weekly receive e-mails from 'lost' family members and descendants of people in the family tree.

Keasberry relies on PHP in combination with MySQL, of course in combination with Apache webserver and Linux. All is written in the editor Vim and managed with phpMyAdmin

Yahoo! is integrated in the site and used to search the Keasberry website. For better indexing by search engines, an XML sitmap is availiable.

All the PHP and SQL code is written and maintained by Menno van der Horst.

The world map is using the Google API and the PHP GoogleMapAPI by Monte Ohrt.
